    I used to sell on Amazon as well as my own website. Margins were very low and I sold at the lowest price I could on my own site. The only way could sell on Amazon was to increase the price by 17.5% as this was the charge they made.to sell through their store.
    However sales were split pretty much 50/50 between out two sites but I made the same margin on both.

    It therefore doesn't surprise me to see this ShiftZZ

    ......and Amazon still can't make money? - according to Bloomberg business week anyway (free copy - they didn't have the usual free Beano in the BA lounge)
