had some time to kill so i got to thinking about adjustable Cadac legs.
mines a Cadac carry chef delux but it will work on any with three legs.
anyone who has one will know how inconvenient it is if you aint level.
heres my solution.
firstly, you will need three of these....not sure what they do but they are used in the bar trade (could be for optics)....you could use any clamp if its the right size for the legs.
next you need to cut one end off....the one without the adjusteroh:
then remove the plastic 'foot' from each leg....they are tight but do come out.
using the clamp as a template, mark and drill two holes on the outside edge of the leg to suit the threaded holes in the clamp,
place the clamp inside the leg with the clamp foot facing inwards and screw in two suitable bolts, not too long or you'll hit the other side before they're tight.
pull off the 'pad' from the adjuster rod, unscrew and re-fit the rod from the top side and refit the 'pad'.
do the same on all three legs and job done and you have 2" to 3" of adjustment.
