Hi
I just brought our first Moho .
It’s 4 seatbelt . I’m looking a possibility to Ada other passenger. Just after purchase I find out that I can’t put additional seatbelt . Just wondering about changing single passenger cabin seat into two seater ?
Or maybe someone have a different idea ??
TIA

That I think that is the only option. Adding a bench seat but it does close off access between the seats to the habitation section.
as the seat belt fixings so I have been told in the past are designed for one seat belt set only.
and that was four years ago may have changed but I doubt it.

it’s not impossible but normally costly to add another seat belt, one example is the Lotus Evora, they come as 2+0 or 2+2, to add seat belts to the rear on a 2+0 is possible but the cost is eye watering.

Seat belt fixings must comply with stringent regulations. If you have modified your motorhome from its original design, and have made substantial changes including the addition of seats and/or seat belts, you should notify the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) of this modification which will usually prompt an inspection.

There are specialist companies who fit additional belts........

Before adding extra belts I would have a look at your payload.
You will most likely be overweight with just four occupants and their luggage.
Payload is the difference between the gross maximum weight of the van (on the chassis/vin plate) and the empty weight.

Hi, I took a double seat out the front of my Peugeot boxer and replaced it with a single. The seat belt on the double seat(which would be the middle person ,if 3 people were in the front) is all integral to the seat and as such you would not need to alter it from how it would be as produced by the manufacturer. I see no problem in doing this, you can get a double swivel base if you require. The only thing to look at would be the seatbelt pretentioner and passenger airbag if fitted. But it could be possible, ask at your local MOT
Station for some advice.
Hope this helps .

Cheers Cris
