Adding a shortcut to phone's home screen

I have been having problems with MHF on my Android phone. I've deleted the shortcut and updated Chrome, now MHF is working well but Chrome wil not let me add an icon to my home screen, I click the dots but the 'add to home screen button' is not there as it is for other sites. In the past I have had no problems doing this but now I'm stumped. Any ideas please?

Have you tried dragging the icon to the edge of each screen until you reach the home screen?

Type motorhome fun.co.uk into your phone.
When the front page comes up click on the THREE BUTTONS at screen top (NOT the hamburger)
On resulting page click 'add to desktop'. Close browser then drag the icon where you want it

With MHF the add to home screen doesn't come up, it does with other sites
