So, this is my current setup, one 11kg Gaslow with external filler connected to a truma moncontrol crash sensor regulator.

Now, Im confusing myself a bit as I've decided to fit a second 11kg and get rid of the 6kg calor, so Im figuring on the following.

1. A number 2 cylinder the same size.
2. A t piece to allow me to connect 2 pigtails to the one regulator like this?
https://autogasshop.co.uk/product/w20-tee/
3. A stainless hose to go from one cylinder to the other like this?
4. Another pigtail to back to the t piece on the regulator.

Why does it feel like Im forgetting something?

Any thoughts anyone?

Is that it though

bottle, hose from no1 to no2 bottle on fill side.
I would get two new hose from bottle to bulk head fitting, replacing the rubber one. autogas do them Hose
the t piece you listed

You will need a filler T piece, so that both bottles will be filled. You attach to one cylinder and then link across to second. Link hose as you’ve listed.

Cheers for the replies so far and yes Sapper520 that helps a lot more than the pics online, I think I can make sense of that now :-)
So cylinder 2 is on the left and gets the gas from the fill point, so that essentially acts as a T piece to also fill cylinder 1 by the looks of it, assuming you have opened cylinder 1 of course on the yellow knob. Then the other 2 hoses go to the changeover valve connected to the regulator.

Hmmm all the pictures of changeover valves have them on top of the regulator but mines a side exit, does it matter does anyone know?

Sorry can’t help with advice with the changeover valve location.

Both cylinders are closed whilst filling up, when setting up for use, both cylinders are opened….so the changeover valve can kick in if needed.

Message me if you like , I own Autogas 2000 (Autogasshop)
You basically require :
Cylinder connection hose 600 mm
W20 tee or other changeover valve
Either a no 2 cylinder or a no 1 and a swivel tee if locker isn’t 750 mm minimum height.
1 x Butane pigtail 450 mm minimum

You can position the changeover valve in any orientation you like, even on the ceiling of a locker upside down 👍
Most importantly always try to ensure that any changeover valve is higher than the cylinder outlet and your pigtails slope back towards your cylinders, this way any heavy ends (oily residue) and condensation will run back down into your cylinder and help avoid any regulator problems.

Absolutely nothing wrong with rubber pigtails, personally I wouldn’t change it .
Lots of misconceptions about the rubber pigtails causing regulator failures, when in all probability it was the heavy ends (oily substance)that’s present in all LPG products , also more likely that the rubber components in the regulator were actually swelling slightly.
Most importantly is to ensure that any pigtails are sloping back towards the cylinder and the regulator is mounted higher than the cylinder outlet valve.
Don’t get me started about hoses and hose life as I have managed to get the NCC to issue yet another bulletin to their fitters .
Those orange Truma / GOK hoses have a 10 year lifespan in Germany and many other countries but the NCC mistakenly informed manufacturers and fitters it was only 5 ⚠️

Using a W20 Caravan Elbow will bring a changeover valve into the horizontal position and may aid keeping your hose above the cylinders. A Truma Gas Filter would give some peace of mind as well.

Hmmmm Basildog sent a pm to query something.

I think you have a number 2 cylinder already and wanted a number 1
But this is a number 2 with the vertical outlet?

I'm waiting for Basildog to confirm but actually looking at the listing below it appears it's deliberatly got 2 x Number 1 cylinders. So Im assuming I can fit a second number one. I mean other than the inlet/outlet being taller due to being vertical I don't see how on earth it can function any differently?

A 'T' piece turns a no 1 into a no 2, so you may need another 'T' piece.

Yep, he's just replied the same, fair play (y)

All sorted, swivel t piece on its way, top service from these guys!!
I recently received a bunch of Gaslow stuff from Autogas as well and just finished installing it.
Once you get your head around the fact the hoses from the cylinders to regulator come out from the side, by their shut off valves, and the fill hoses go in at the top, with your new tee piece fitted to one of them, its easy.
Have fun.

Just about to fit the T, everthing else is ready in the van so it'll only take another 10 minutes but been working.
