Had to laugh,

Since getting our wonderful motorhome from Simon-Alan Kerr in July, we have had a month in France and just returned from a month in Spain. Plus a few weekends we have for about 70 nights and 4500 miles in 6 months and loved it.

The laugh was in chatting to the boss I had to sort of apologise and say we might only be able to have 2 weeks in May away to France due to work.

Although will still get 4 weeks to Spain again.

Getting withdrawal symptoms.

She merely said, well you better bloody retire soon then as I need to be away in the van

Almost suggested cancelling the cruise in august to spend the money on the motorhome

Why doesn't she do what i did, go off on her own or stay in France and let you get home on the plane, Ferry, bus walk whatever

Now that is a sensible idea, far better than being stuck on a boat.

We aren't either, never went abroad on my own but did/do a fair bit in the uk. Sometimes just up the road to Scarborough or Filey, but being away in the van is so relaxing. Roll on retirement for you.

Oh will have many weekends away though. Plus I try not to work most Fridays so that helps.

This was about going on holiday to continent and when need be just jumping on a plane or come home for work and back.

Bearing in Mind we will still have 8 weeks of holiday this year plus a few weekends away ……

Hopefully 22 months time and that’s it. Retirement beckons and loads of touring. Hoping 90/180! Amy have changed
