Total cost £4.99😀. Just plug in and use when required . None of these fancy dash mounted buttons to inflate/deflate but will do the job at a fraction of the cost .👍🏻

On the van, I use a micro sized bicycle hand pump. The valves were next to the handbrake, attached to the driver's seat frame. The volume and pressure required in the bellows is so low, it only take a couple of minutes to inflate it from flat.... although I did used to get some funny looks as I pumped away.

Same here although flicking a switch sounds interesting.

So you're manually connecting it to each side and then just switching it on/off ?

Correct . If we arrive onsite and need to drop the back end to lower it I just let the air out and then connect the compressor and put some air back in when we set off again .

I had a temporary contract as a Housing Officer in the Gorbals some 21 years ago and used to walk to the office along the riverbank [beautiful at this time of year in the early morning sun]. At the start of the footpath was a Glasgow City Council sign 'No Dumping'; the local wag had extended the 'D' to alter the sign to 'No Pumping' ... and I never saw anyone breaking the byelaw ... :oops:

Cheaper seat mount gauges are available......I thought you were specifically looking for the ALKO air top gauges.
No mate just seen the gauges looked the part. Wether it’s al-ok or not it’s only giving an air pressure reading. Thanks any way for response

300PSI maybe a bit OTT::bigsmile:
Also bit of a joke.
It will be 300psi on top of the piston in theory using the swept area but, for a five quid jobby it will never reach 100psi.... Probably not even 75psi.
My £17 compressor will reach 115psi but takes around 10minutes to get there and gets too hot to touch. .
