Does anybody know if Adac are taking new members. I used to be with them but I stopyed motorhoming.
Now back with new van. I think I read that they are not taking new members. Also I am insured with comfort what's there breakdown cover like. Any suggestions

As from Oct this year ADAC are not accepting new membership from anyone who does not have a German postal address.

Sorry Pete I believe that is wrong.
They stopped sending the magazine outside Germany, but I know for definite one couple who have JUST become members, and have a feeling there is another as well but do not know 100%

Hi John I realise that ADAC have stopped sending out magazines in printed form however, after reading about this on several different forums, I refer you to a posting on MHF from GWAYGWAY on 11th Oct this year in which he quotes a letter from ADAC saying:-

Dear Members & interested Persons,

Unfortunately from the 1st of October 2017 the ADAC Mobile Club in Germany is not allowed to take out any new memberships for interested people with a residence outside from Germany.

For existing Members is it still possible to renew the existing breakdown cover insurance over the phone and stay as a member in ADAC Mobile Club.
