Don’t wait for the light to come on, you don’t get very many miles after it does. Can the Ad Blue be topped up at anytime, or do we need to wait until the warning light is on?
The ones I've used have and the nozzle fits the van adblu filler nozzle opening the anti spill flap ,unlike the plastic filler nozzles that come with the self fill ones..Do they have a cut-off like a normal fuel pump ?
Nah - that’s just you, Sapper520 - 1500 miles according to the Boxer manual…..Don’t wait for the light to come on, you don’t get very many miles after it does.

I don't have that issue with my 2020 MY Ducato. I did 500 miles after the warning light without issue. I do now carry a 5 litre container though and top up when the light comes on 'just in case' until I get to a bulk pump having read about your problem with it.Peugeot possibly… Fiat….about 50 miles before my ‘you can’t start your van once you’ve switch it off’ message came on. Ended up having a piggy back to the dealers to get it sorted.
I would fill up your adblue on your travels ,certainly easier and cheaper than the plastic 10 litre containers from retail outletsMy car is telling me 2,000 miles I'm going to London and back, I will recheck when I get back, so far it seems very unreliable but no warning light yet
The container I bought from Tesco’s said use within 6 months of opening, I think……..Out of interest does Adblue have a limited use/ use by date ?

Ours is a 2020 140bhp manual. We hadn’t put any in as we picked it up new and assumed it was full, and would get at least a 1500 mile warning like our car……but no, light came on about 50 or so miles from home so continued home. Once home, I topped up with the 10 litres as per the recommendations in the manual, followed the reset procedure, warning light stayed on. I managed to get about another 4 litres in but that was it. Light stayed on, so took it for a short drive to see if that helped, but the warning message of not being able to start came on…..parked back on my drive, switched off, sure enough she wouldn’t start.I don't have that issue with my 2020 MY Ducato. Having checked, unopened, the Ad Blue will be ok for 12 months before degrading too much; if opened, this reduces to six months before degradation is excessive…….The container I bought from Tesco’s said use within 6 months of opening, I think……..
I’ll check when I get back to Ciren….
Its no big deal actually.I'm thankful ours is euro 5. We bought that in the nick of time, cam chain too
You’ll be banned from driving in cities before us Euro 6 types though!I'm thankful ours is euro 5. We bought that in the nick of time, cam chain too
I suppose not, we've had our euro 5 van taken off on a flat bed to the dealers regularlyIts no big deal actually.
You can go off people you know……I suppose not, we've had our euro 5 van taken off on a flat bed to the dealers regularly

Just been to Southern Spain and back via the tunnel, 3600 miles. Topped it up before I set off and Adblue light came on 200yds from home, so I know it will do 3600 miles on a tank. No different to topping the windscreen wash.I suppose not, we've had our euro 5 van taken off on a flat bed to the dealers regularly
