We are on site at Streamstown Caravan and Camping near Roscrea in the ROI and today the Dutch ACSI Inspectors arrived to do their duty. Easily recognisable by their green sweatshirts emblazened with the ACSI logo and the NL registration plates on their motorhome.
A very nice couple, who like their fellow inspectors carry out their inspections voluntarily.
We were the "site customers" questioned on the service provided and were able to give generally positive answers regarding the service . This of course could have been entirely different depending on which customers were chosen for the "interview ".
We buy the Annual updated ACSI book and DVD which has saved us a considerable amount in site fees especially when travelling on the continent and would recommend this to any Motorhome/RV owner especially when travelling in Europe.
I understand from the inspectors that the information published next year will be more specific with regard to the pitch availability regarding length and weight of motorhomes on each site . At present it only indicates if sites can accomodate motorhomes/caravans >8m and >4 tonnes.
As an RV owner this will certainly be useful.
