Is the 2022 ACSI card/book available to buy when we are in France (2 weeks time we hope)? Trip is still not certain yet as I'm waiting for a hospital appointment which may arrive before we set off so trip may end up very last minute, so not keen to buy over here and not use it if we don't get away.

I got mine from vicarious books. Paid online and it was here in 48hrs

Didn’t see it on their website. Will check again.

Eventually found it. Sold out.

The ACSI books/card are usually available in the accessory shops attached to large motorhome dealers in France. Two of the larger accessory "chains" are Narbonne Accessoires and Destinea. Hopefully a quick google search should find one somewhere along your route.

I got mine from Amazon, I bought the Dutch language version of the France book, you get the standard acsi camping card but the code for the app only covers france

It's really only an off peak discount scheme so may not be much use this time of year.

Probably not over Easter . We don’t go til a week later. ACSI prices are not valid during July and August and we’ll be back by then. Hopefully going in September as well.

Do you speak Dutch? Or can you get the info you need without knowing the language?

I have the Dutch version from Amazon, delivered next day....easy to get all the information you need without needing to Speak Dutch, if clarification on certain information is needed, check the ACSI internet site....simple....after all what information would you want...Price, when you can use the card, number of pitches.....location...all easy to follow..(y)

We used to use ACSI quite a lot and still have the books and card on annual subscription. Seems to be getting less useful as many places are just as cheap without ACSI and ACSI rates keep increasing.
If you use premium coastal sites then the saving is more worthwhile.

I Get mine direct from ACSI, took out an annual subscription when at the NEC a couple of years ago. Gets sent direct to me in December, costs 13 euros.

Just use the app. Saves a tonne of weight compared to the book and easier to navigate. The discount won’t work unless during off peak times.

We usually journey outside peak times. June or September.

I got the Dutch edition off Amazon, only wanted the discount card. Language no problem as I use the app to find sites and get reviews.
I’m in France at the moment and have seen it in the motorhome accessory shops for sale.

I just bought it as it was the cheapest option to get the card. The book is a list of all the sites in France, not just the ones that accept the camping card. Each site description says if it does accept the card. In another section there is a list of sites that do accept the card, listed by region and cross-referenced by page number to the main section of the book.

Anyone got a work around for folk like us who forgot to bring their card with them?!? 🙈

Can’t say we’ve ever seen any motorhome accessory shops in France. Maybe we weren’t looking in the right places.

They are attached to large motorhome dealerships, usually found on the outskirts of larger towns and cities. See post #5 above.
