We have not used the card since 2019.
Are funsters using it in 2022 already?
Are sites accepting it at the agreed prices or are they applying any supplements due to the cost of living rises affecting everything else?

Bump - can anyone share their experience of this?

A little mixed. Some sites accept it as normal, though the discount is sometimes very small.
In Granada the owner explained that Acsi had charged €4000 even when the site was closed so he had dropped them. I imagine others may have had the same experience.

Do Acsi charge for being listed?
I thought they reviewed the site and agreed the pricing structure.

Just wondering the same thing. Do people here think the ACSI card is worth it?

We used to use it a lot up to 2019. I am still hoping for a few more responses as there must be funsters in Europe at the moment.

Yes ACSI charge the campsites. When we stopped at Millau last year the owner said it's expensive and he dropped out of the scheme that year. He still gave us discount though 😎

It is if you use it a good few nights at different sites. If you stay at one site long term you usually get it cheaper than the ACSI rate.

I've found another thread ACSI for Germany trip? that has quite a few positive mentions. We used the book a lot when living in France 2003-2015. The app sounds useful

I've used acsi extensively up to early 2020, but not since. So interested to know what the 2022 situation?

I’ve got it for 2022 but I notice the handful of English sites we’ve used it in for years have all gone now. I do mean English as I’ve not used it in other bits of the U.K. We’re hoping to use it in France in June but time will tell if it’s accepted.

We are just completing a 3 month trip in Spain but decided not to bother with the card this time. May review that decision in the future

We’ve used ours a couple of times this trip and there’s been no additional supplements apart from a small tourist tax in France.

I believe the price points listed have increased this year, I can't remenber what they were, something like 12, 14, 16 18 euro and I gather the top price in now 22 euro, others with this years book will probably confirm.
I've not used it since 2019 and I'd probably not bother now ?

Going to France/Spain in June, card just delivered planning to use as much as possible.
🍻

We just got ours for this year. We are off to Spain in less than two weeks. We will see!!
The off season rates in this years book are €12, 14, 16, 18, 20 and 22.

As a solo traveler I was finding there wasn't any saving for me long term.

So I dropped acsi mailed them umpteen times to get conformation of cancellation ( Felt like Patrick McGooan "The Prisoner") trying to get out😂
Put a stop on dd.
Still sent me for two years before they actually acknowledged emails.

We are not fans of sites preferring Aires or wilding ocacasionly meet up with friends on a site so I've just bought the Benolux book with card on Amazon for 12 quid as recomended by another Funster. Should get my money back if I just spend 1 night on a site.

Any funsters further replies would be appreciated. TIA

We are not long home from 6 weeks in France, staying predominantly in ACSI sites. All sites were priced as advertised and there was one great site we stayed at that was €12 a night. The only costs over and above were the tourist taxes and for our second dog. We would definitely say it was worth it!

We are still in france and last used it last week. The only issue now is ACSI is starting to stop for the higher season (the exact date varies from site to site). The savings vary but at Caceres (Spain) for example it was €10 cheaper a night.

We used it 4 times this trip in Spain/ Portugal/ France and no one added any costs.

We have recently returned from 5+ weeks in Spain. Using our latest card, sites were €20_€22. The discount did not apply over the Easter week holiday. More like €35 then.

Still worth having.

We found that sites in Spain bumped up (doubled) the price for local events during Easter week and for the motorbike grand prix in Jerez. Not only were we being overcharged there we had bikers revving their bikes in the early hours.

I’ve recently bought the 22 subscription and also added to app for campings and app for motorhome pitches both at additional cost.

Not sure if it was the right thing.

However, on the app I’ve downloaded, everything seems to be an add on price. Am I missing something in gaining access to the add ons that I thought I had already paid for ?
