Abuse of site facilities

Am I being a miserable git?

We are currently on a 5 pitch site on Unst, which has hard standings EHU, Fresh Water, black waste and oddly enough a toilet and shower block split in 2 each has a toilet and shower one if which is designated for campers use and is free and the other has toilet and Shower which is metered £1.00 for 5 minute For members of the public and users of the harbour.

The issue is there is a PVC with a mature couple wildcamping on ground opposite the shower block. Both occupants are using the campsite facilities including the ’Free shower’ and black waste, getting their water from the sink in the toilet but no Electric, we are paying £20 per night , they are paying nothing and although there has been a space available on the site they choose to still wildcamp.

Are they wrong to be using the free facilities and not paying should something be said ? Do you think this is fair ?
There are no staff on site only a phone number.

No I am a bit of a FL but that is just taking the piss yes phone the warden or site owners and report them it can only go one way if everyone done that closing of the facilities

IMHO they are committing an act of theft. The services are not free - there is a daily fee to use the facilities or a rate for those not using the site.

The more FLT’s cheat the owner then the higher the price will go for those who pay according to the rules.

Phone the owner and report them - no better than squatters or travellers!

I'd want to know more before deciding on dobing them in.

I'd have a chat with them if it really bothered me. Maybe they are destitute and maybe the site owner has taken pity on them and said they can use the facilities? Maybe the are just tossers. A brief convo would find that out.

No it is not fair.

If we were willdcamping on the piece of ground we would not be using the facilities, but then we never do.

Even if they used the paid shower they should not be using it for black waste.

Maybe the signage isn't that clear to advise of the pay shower and other site paid for facilities.

We could set up a motorhome cort try them and publicly flog them.
Chris can be council for the defence any prosecution council in the gallery.
Any judge's hanging around on hear from the old hanging days.

Hi David, obviously not destitute, very nice clothes, 2 dogs ( oh I forgot to say untethered and crapping around their van.

Totally agree. They are the same as the group of people we are not permitted to mention for fear of offence!

Someone today let his dog crap at the side of my van.
And was just going to walke on the wife went after him he had no escape from the sharp edge of her tung poor sole.
Thinks he will be traumatized for what life he has left
She put a bag in his hand and told him in no uncertain terms to pick it up.
