Been 16-18° most days here in Turkiye . Not tropical but not had heating on since Christmas. Can't complain

Yes, we did the full day dhow trip and kayaking, lots of colourful fish, loads of dolphins and secluded warm waters to swim in. Not sure when you were last there but they are in the process of building a cafe/restaurant/resort on Telegraph Island. The building footprint appears to take up most of the island. Oman is developing rapidly to catch the tourists, albeit, still relatively quiet. We also rented a 4x4 and drove over the mountains (Jebel Harim) to the small and isolated coastal village of Lima.

Memories, spent so much time there over the years. Must be about 5/6 years ago last time we were there.
Spent so much time 4x4ing in the wadis and deserts there.
Don't know if you will get as far down as Salalah in the Dofar region another interesting place.

Had to post this. Sitting at a NZMCA site at Franz Josef. It’s 23 degrees at 17:06 and I can see the Tasman glacier while having a beer and watching the tourists helicopters coming back from their trips.

Ok, the site doesn’t have electricity but it has everything else, 10 minutes walk from the centre of Franz Josef and it is costing me $10 a night, that £4.33!

Beat that CMC or CCC.

We had flood alert notifications this morning on the phones for Girona as it's not far away. Good job I was already awake as I'd have thought we were being attacked.

We're heading northwards shortly and driving in this weather isn't going to be a pleasant thing to do as there are 60 mph gusts so it's gonna get rocky!

Today slightly overcast
Next two days forecast as clear and sunny
14 - 17 degrees, but depending on breeze, sometimes feels much warmer, today (slightly overcast) feels VERY fresh.

Yesterday was the best so far, spent from 11am to 5.15pm on the above beach in shorts and tee shirt. Supposed to be similar today BUT from tomorrow (when we fly home) it’s forecast to turn overcast and drizzley for the forthcoming 4 days at least.

We had a few light showers last night and this morning in Simat near Gandia no wind at all dead calm. We've moved inland a bit to Bellús, no wind or rain and the sun keeps popping out now and then I think the Harry must be stalking Minxy.

Where are you? We’re at the Riu Palace Aquarelle at Trelawney.
It’s too hot around the pools, so we base ourselves on the beach which tends to have a cooling breeze

Just had one of the worst spells of rain ever. Flooding everywhere. Moving today to an aire in Marseillan Plage, our current one under several centimetres of water.

Sorry your visit to our part of the world has not been good, we are about a hour or so inland from you and we had some snow yesterday, if you can believe the forcast, you may get some more heavy rain this afternoon, but hopefully it will calm down a bit over the next few days although getting a little colder.

Sorry your visit to our part of the world has not been good, we are about a hour or so inland from you and we had some snow yesterday, if you can believe the forcast, you may get some more heavy rain this afternoon, but hopefully it will calm down a bit over the next few days although getting a little colder.

We live here so we're fairly used to the climate. Having said that, Spain is our usual winter hideaway..!

It was brighter this afternoon, so had a beach walk.

Great aire and thinking of staying here a bit longer. We have the car and e-Bikes so it's very relaxing.
