When we swapped our batteries to Lithium, our CBE maintainer wasn’t recommended for lithium (aware they have one now) and Votronic specifically stated not for Lithium. As we were getting the install done by Roadpro, didn’t want to ask them to get one of Eddie’s (!) and went with an Ablemail, a reprogrammable unit, designed and made by a small company near Manchester.
It runs 2 separate programmes, one for when lithium is under charge from solar etc and a “storage” setting when there is no charge. Given that we keep the van in storage and we get practically no usable solar at this time of year, I wanted very specific settings for my “storage” settings. As I was coming down this way for a bit of warranty work at Wildax ( more excellent service) I phoned Jonathan, the designer and owner, to see if I could pop in when passing.
just back, Jonathon himself did the amends, after a long chat about how and where we use it, and no charge!
Great personal service from another small British company.

I used one of their 30amp B2B for my lithium setup and found them to be very helpful with programming and phone advice.
