According to the Search for Sites app there is overnight parking on the esplanade. It looks nice if a little close to the docks.

I'm down the beach quite frequently with the camper to go for a cycle, or just to have a cuppa and maybe watch a movie on Netflix. It can get extremely busy on a weekend, but you can usually find a park up. The constant vehicle noise gets a bit annoying though, but I've never overnighted down there and just turn the TV up to drown it out.

I often see a motorhome parked up with the front blinds closed. Might that be you?
