I travelled the full 2.5 mile length of the bypass today for the first time.
Northbound Between the Cayton Bay roundabout (just after the Haven holiday park)and the Osgodby underpass is a new Ministry Checking Area. (just before the underpass)
it is a steel barriered pull-in with two inspection lanes.
If you know you are overweight
oh:i would suggest exiting right at the Cayton bay roundabout and use the 'old' road, rejoining the new A165 at the northern end (wheatcroft roundabout).
Funsters would never dream of travelling overweight of course.
