A very weird bathroom tap !! (1 Viewer)

Our bathroom tap is dual purpose, micro switched and serves washhand basin and when ceiling mounted becomes shower head.
Started some pre-trip jobs today and discovered a weird problem. Kitchen tap works fine, bathroom tap works fine BUT with bathroom tap in OFF setting, switch ON kitchen tap and water runs from bathroom tap, still in OFF position!!!!
Cannot for the life of me work out ........ Any ideas?

The microswitches on both taps are working fine, but the valve on the bathroom tap is stuck open.

With both taps off, the pump doesn't run, so no water flows anywhere. As soon as you open the kitchen tap, the pump starts & water flows through the open valve in the bathroom tap.
