A road less travelled? (1 Viewer)

We’ve just travelled from Ullapool to Golspie this afternoon using the A835, A837 & A839 (blue route below) and have been stunned to have had only a single vehicle behind us for 55 miles of the 60 mile route! We encountered dozens of vehicles in the opposite direction.

Is it because Ullapool is such a lovely place that no one wants to leave there?
