Will it or won't it

The question is our van is 7.8 metres long and front wheel drive so will it go round this bend. I agree he it looks most sensible to reverse up and draw in but the picture does not show the true undulation which means that it drags it' bum on the floor even with the air suspension pumped up fullyi

the nearside front will lose down force and spin causing loss of drive. To get around the bend you need to swing as far as you can to the right before turning to try and keep the front drive wheels on the same level as possible. The drawback is that if your rear overhang is to much then you will catch the fence on the right hand side.
Also going from tarmac to gravel doesn't help.

I hope that helps Alan.

He he we landed in the same predicament as Howie except our off side front wheel left the floor by about four inches and we finished the turn with a 4x4 and tow rope just as un-dignified as Howie did

I got stuck on a hairpin bend going up a hill in Wales once some years ago, front wheel lifted and towbar/bike carrier embedded in road!

No going forwards or backwards until a friendly welsh farmer with an old shogun and chain dragged me round bend,

Caused by idiot coming down the road forced me to take bend really tight
