First night wilding in The Galloway Forest Park this year, weather perfect, midges non existent but lots of the tenting/drinking dancing round the fire fraternity about as well as the Transit van with a mattress in the back, but it was a lovely night to watch some of the Perseids meteor shower, magical.

I'm on a aire in France, when I arrived there were vans in front of me - all French.... maybe the sight of me just in boxers put them off......but to be fair it would put anyone off....

We were out for a bike ride in the New Forest and stopped to have our sarnies when a large clap of thunder behind us alerted us to some rather nasty clouds heading our way, just made it back to the van in time. Boy that hail was noisy hitting the roof !
