Not a photo of today, but a photo of the day I was at school. I'm not on the photo but this is my school. It was held in an ex-soldiers' camp at a gun site (Big Bertha) left over from the war, so about 1950. My how things have changed.

Went Buckingham Palace today to pay our respects, it was pack with people.
You are directed via Green Park, from Hyde Park Corner into a one way system. We went into the Floral Tribute area, astounding all the flowers laid out. We then went to Palace but too busy to get near gates, think they anticipated 3-4hrs to walk round.

Came back via St James's Palace.
Your taken aback by the volume of flowers and visitors.

Ralf paid his respect as well.

Really pleased we made the visit. RIP your Majesty. <Broken link removed>

My sister did some ancestry stuff and found Frederick Fullick buried in the Norfolk Cemetery in the Sommes.
Detour en route home.
He also appears in the church in our village
His resting place and views. Shame the sunflowers weren't in bloom. Another day perhaps.

KiwiKampers. It was at Lac de Pierre Percee close to Badenviller in The Vosges mountains. And Yes it was a great location. Le Lac is actually a massive reservoir.
