Got this photo of a young barn owl using a tawny owl box, not a brilliant photo because it’s a bit shy.View attachment 640446
This is on a CS near St.Neots, there’s 3 baby owls on site.
Just saw this can you say which CL site it is? I would love to photograph them.

And one of those is on my list. A balloon ride.
I did one in the dales many years ago , go for it you won't regret it , take camera / video with you , I was looking down and wondered what the black ants were going across the countryside , should have gone too specsavers it was crows!!!!
Unbelievably we were someway up from and could actually here muffle voices , people below mere dots in the country lanes

Arrived at this aire View attachment 643463by the river Somme this morning. This is a propeller and bomb from a Lancaster bomber that was dug up here in 1998.(Our Bessie is in the background)
Looking at the way the prop was bent, it looks like it was a belly landing and hopefully the crew managed to either bail out or got out from the wreckage safely.

We really do owe so much to the brave men of bomber command 🇬🇧

Wales has gone all hi-tech. I found a self-service "shop" in the middle of nowhere.
Nobody here just machines to take your money.

You sure you're in Wales and not Yorkshire, as it looks like they have a vice fitted to the worktop for getting the last drop out of the tea bags ?
