Alnmouth - absolutely beautiful. It’s our first time here and it’s gorgeous.

Went for an evening champagne picnic with management to celebrate 16 years of tears, tantrums and happiness

Well, I was distinctly underwhelmed with Lindisfarne. No atmosphere and the National Trust and English Heritage divvied up the Priory and The Castle between them!

There was a lovely walk around the island though, with things we would much rather look at!

Inside the lime kilns:

Just as well I left the uke in the van …

There are some beautiful seaside towns here though, Alnmouth, Seahouses, Amble, and the absolutely gorgeous Warkworth…

It reminded me of a French village!

And the lovely Amble ..,

And on my travels, I always need an answer from DBK - what’s this one John - and would it survive in a south facing soft southern back garden?
