Picked little grandaughter from school. They had done artwork....... drawing around her hand. I am hoping it is the victory sign that I taught her.

We stopped off to watch the surfers. Was so rough a jetski was taking the surfers out.

I had a look around a ruined Abbey on the Il de Ré today, it's been lovely and sunny but i think we have rain later.

Scenery from our weekend away. Only travelled about 50kms from home to the Motueka Valley where they're harvesting the hops, many of which will be exported to the UK, likewise the apples. Saw a lovely group of Royal Spoonbills (would that be a "canteen" of Spoonbills?) and the beach consisted of crushed scallop shells.

Just had a stroll through our sleepy village on this fine spring morning, and thought what a world apart from the poor sods trying to stay alive in Ukraine.

Just realised i have not looked at Photo of the day for ages.
Matlock bath ride and pensioners F&Cs.
Then on way home stopped at Hope Valley Stables. Nice cafe there called G-Gees.

Son dropped grandson and his 2 cousins to the beach. Grandson Alec in the middle. They walked home.

Still at the Camping Car Park Aire at Gastes, will be heading for Pamplona tomorrow. Only a few vans here at the moment.

It's very peaceful here with great views across the lake and a bar restaurant 100 mtrs down the road.

I spotted a Cormorant on the rocks and managed to get a couple of pictures.

Mumbles pier and lifeboat station this morning.

Route des Cretes, Gorges du Verdon. We drove over 38 miles and saw less than 10 vehicles this morning

Very foggy at daybreak around here. Now cleared.

Not taken today but Two on Tour photo reminded me of this guy who almost got it wrong when we were in France A few years ago. Frantic use of the burner cleared the lake, trees and surrounding hills.
