I’m pleased you finally made it.
We have been up another mountain today but not allowed to stay and had to go by bus

For whatever reason i have only just read this.
Yet again you have trailblazed for me as i have failed in previous attempts to go up there in the right weather.
It has potential for my middle holiday this year.

I remember our trip on that railway. Special to us as John is a real "steamy". Thanks for the great photo

When the natural light and background are just right I just needed a touch of fill in flash or a bit more talent

That's a cracking photo, well done. :) I hope you don't mind but I've tweaked it using Lightroom mobile or Lightroom Android as it seems to be called this week - it keeps changing! I selected the area of the bird and increased the exposure. Done with a thumb on a phone so not very precise but it sort of works. I've also made the colours a bit richer.

Never realised they filmed Skyfall house about 8 mile down the road so first trip out on the motorbike this year.
Hankley common near Thursley about 10 mile west of guildfordView attachment 367353View attachment 367354View attachment 367355
Sorry but I am just not seeing your connection. Your area looks nothing like the film. No mountains for a start. No house there either. In fact it looks pretty flat and boring around there. The house in skyfall is supposed to be Glencoe area.

And yet it was filmed here. First 2 pictures where the sand mass is. That is where the house was built. The mountainous scenes were filmed in Glencoe area.
