Spring is getting closer, taken yesterday. 
Our village church grounds are awash with them, blue un's anorl
Last few days of our Malaysia trip. In Melaka (Malacca in old money), we were having a drink in a riverside cafe and spotted this monitor lizard across the river having a drink too. It was about 4 foot long.

I've walked past this van for years, you can't see from the picture but there is a wall at the front as well so it must have been parked using a forklift! Anyway, recently someone has jacked it up and removed the front wheel so perhaps a restoration has started?
Or they have been nicked.

A few snaps taken on my brief trip across to Menorca last week. Drove up Monti Torre then a few hours at Cuitadelle . I was surprised at the number of MH’s on such a small but beautiful island, didn’t spot a Brit though. Not a spec of rubbish on the verges or the streets, everywhere is spotless. The natives driving leaves something to be desired, not quite as hazardous as the Italians but a close second. I know it’s an overnight ferry to Mahon but well worth a visit.
For those not looking at the motorbike thread but like country.

Went to say farewell today at a coffee shop, to a friend who is leaving our Reading Group and we all read relevant passages. Sadly, I spent most of the time in a blur as couldn't find where I'd put my reading glasses until the last few minutes!!!
