Phoenix were our initial contenders to replace the Flair, they are very a la carte in their floorplans and we could have got a slide out. I like the construction and if you went HGV the quality of materials becomes less weight controlled. They use Victron another plus. But, and it's a big but the design is more 80's than 2020. Both inside but definitely outside.
A one month old example on a MAN is here. I think if I had seen this my debate with Phoenix would have got past first base and further. 20191015_120319.jpg20191015_120346.jpg20191015_114621.jpg

That's true Jon, Morelo used too but moved to Mercedes. I understood the issue revolved around the Euro 6 compliance which had MAN installing a DPF (think that's it) which is heat intensive on the gearbox, this positioned it right under the front cab floor introducing heat and creating level flooring issues.
Phoenix do not have the same issue as they work with a higher floor level, funflair can discuss why. This I noticed when I was looking at this Phoenix garage entrance where the floor must be 10cm or more higher than mine.

If you crave a MAN chassis, just buy a Ketterer Continental and be done with it, but make sure you upgrade the Smart car to a Brabus or you will just look a wannabe! ? ?

The more you look at it the nicer it becomes. I do like the chunky wheels (like on the Merc, Michael).

When I win the next big £167m Euro-Millions roll-over, Jock I'll order one for you! (y)

How much approximately?

250,000 euros roughly?
That wouldn't even get you the basic vehicle to start adding options to €280k for a 4 cylinder €320k for a 6 cylinder then at least €60k worth of extras at a guess.

Go to PhoeniX web site Paul there is a configurator, have fun (y)

What a jolly decent sort you are. (y) I look forward to accepting your kind offer, in the not too distant future hopefully, eh?.....................................................................

Jock. ;)
