I did something very similar in Northern Spain. I had a huge audience

I did it in a car in a village above Lake Garda too and that was worse because there was a packed bar right next to the tight corner I was stuck on.

I actually think it’s easy to do perhaps not getting stuck but how often have we been following the Sat Nav and the pressure of traffic or the surroundings etc catch you out and you realise you shouldn’t have taken a turn but finish up continuing saying to the wife don’t worry whilst praying you can get through.

Our instance was due to diversion signs. Signed us in, then left us to our own devices ... Once free of the "squeeze", we had a guided escort through the village and out the other side.
