Can anyone help please?.

The cheapest and most secure way to get a letter to Spain?.

I was due to fly today and take it. But, I couldn’t get a Covid PCR test.

I have sent letters by Royal Mail before. But once it gets in the Spanish system it cannot be tracked and they have been lost.

I have done some online pricing this morning and the cheapest I can find is £12. Some asking £25-£100 for a courier delivered letter !

£12 doesn't seem too bad for a one off delivery.

for an envelope though!.

mots just a shame the Spanish postal system is not as good as Royal Mail.
For an envelop or a box they still have to put it on a van, plane van with someone to drive it.

As a company we would pay alot less with account terms but if you want it there quickly and trackable its not too bad as as one off.

I assume the the cost of the papers is worth more than £12

We find it the other way here?
If I send stuff to the UK I either just poke it in the letter box or at the post office- If I post monday they receive it wednesday.
From the UK the thing I tell anyone is never use signed for /tracked/recorded because it will then take 3 weeks. The spanish here are so thorough it is signed for at every stop + it doesn't come with the ordinary mail.
I'd just post them.

We had some ordinary post from the UK dispatched on 28th October, when we left Spain on the 26th of November it hadn't arrived. This is not the first time this has happened, my advice would be to use a courier service if you want to receive mail in Spain on a timely basis.
Cheers
Ed

So an update.

It was a Certificate of Conformity from Audi.

It’s Taken me since March for Audi to send the correct documents. Then they send two, one in an envelope with the address facing inwards from the envelope window.

So, I sent one by normal mail, the other by Royal Mail track and signed 48 hour.

The normal mail arrived within a week.

The tracked one arrived 2 weeks later on the 18th, cost £8.28.

A third COC arrived from Audi to me in the UK this week.
