A Grand Opening Meet with Date Poll

I propose that we have a get-together for us "Founder Members" perhaps on the 15th & 16th September? somewhere in Middle England as central as possible for all. This will coincide with the opening of the website which should be looking good by then.

If anyone has any ideas where we could hold a meet I am open to suggestions. Get back here with your ideas

Obviously we would want to have as many people attend as possible, so lets have a vote on some suitable dates, when we have a date we can work on a venue.

We haven't decided on a venue yet Ray, I didn't realise kands has got something planned that weekend. If the weekend wins our poll then Wisbech will probably be the venue in that case. No Brainer really.

Ray it,s a good site with a few things to do..... FISHING watersports , theres a bar / cafe on site , nice tiolet & shower block ..... £18 per night with leccy

Its definitely not all RVs, we have a few members with Europeans now. I think when we get the word out, the RV's will be outnumbered soon enough. I read somewhere that there are around 8000 new registrations of motorhomes a year, I would think that the RV's number in the very low hundreds.

It would be good to meet you guys sometime soon, its great to put a face to a name. And if the weather is very bad you could park under our awning

Once you have got a date sorted do you want us to arrange it mate? We are more than happy to have a go at doing it, although we are amateurs we have done a few I would advise using a commercial site as we cannot be trusted with sticks and string and stuff like that but if we can help out we will do.
Once the date is sorted, are we then going to look for a site or shall we do that in parallel, if you want us to do it that is???

Hi, RR hope we meet you there we're dying to meet your dogs Steph loves big uns (dogs) we used to have a Rottie and I have to stop her stealing other peoples whhen they are not looking. Mind you yours won't fit in her handbag
