I'm a newbie
Hi All
I'm planning to go out and purchase a Nissan Navara and a Northstar Demountable camper and set off into the sunset around Europe soon. Any of you guys had any experience of demountable camping?

Welcome but remember you will be limited to 90 day trips into the Schengen area after B. If you plan to go further, such as Morocco and on into Africa no restrictions. I met a US couple in France last year who are now down to Botswana I think. They had a demountable but on a big Ford, F350 or something like that.

Hi, we're on our 3rd demount & also admin on the FB page "Demountable Camper Group".
There's a couple of things to watch for with a Navara as they're prone for snapping the chassis :-(
If you want any more info, then please send me a PM & I'll be happy to help ;-)

hi , used a suntrekker demount and had it a few years . it was ok , but a bit small. . was ok when my lads were young they slept in the top we slept in the living room sort of . did think of getting a longer demount but decided to buy a coach instead at the time .
was ok on the vw as we had good locker space under the bed of the pickup.
think most pickups you would be very restricted for space to store things .
but have a good one.

Do Be careful, as others have said, the chassis has a very weak spot which corrodes & causes failure.
