Hi there, well worth getting, the discount does not generally apply during July and August as it is an off peak discount card. You will get your money back (and save much more) from the discounts you receive in May and June, not always all of June but the book gives you all the info for each site. Plus, you know as you pull up, how much a pitch will cost you. Hope that helps, Jane

The acsi card discounts varies from site to site but in general May- Mid June is fine. In france we generally try and use the aires and at the time you are going you should have no problem. All the Aires in France is worth getting www.vicariousbooks.co.uk. There is one available for Germany as well covers the Stellplatzes. Hope you have a good trip we are on our way in May down to Italy.

It's a great card, used it a lot in Germany and France last year when we needed to be on a site for facilities.

Couple of tips...
Most sites won't "reserve" or book a site for you in advanced. The scheme is based on first come first served. Just letting you know so you don't get upset if they refuse your telephone reservation. But I've never had a problem getting onto any site with the card by just turning up.

When you do just turn up, ask them how much the pitch will cost BEFORE you mention the ACSI card. Occasionally it's much cheaper to just ask them for their best offer.

And, electricity is included in the ACSI card price (up to a limit) so don't let some receptionists add it to your bill by mistake. Normally a genuine mistake but do check.

It's a great scheme and very handy out of season.

Yes definately, off peak savings are well worth it, during our 5 week trip in Spain recently on most sites we paid €15 a night incl hook up :thumb:

Another advantage is that the card will be accepted in place of your passport, lets you keep it safe. As others have said, well worth the investment.

Make sure that you get the Book that comes with the card for the discount camping, not just the new ACSI Card which is like the C & CC Card (Which you will get free with the Book and discount card)

Confusing - you bet :ROFLMAO:

It pays for it's self very fast and this year you also get a free camping carnet (need to apply by email for that part).. agree with all the others about the value for money etc.,
