Looking forward to meeting everyone tomorrow…we are planning to leave VanBitz around 8.00am so (hopefully) we will be with you at 2.00pm👍🏻
If you could do me, and Vanbitz a favour, it would be most appreciated.
They have been trying to sort a problem with our alarm system and were sticking three sensors in the post tomorrow. If you could bring them over there would be a cold beer or three awaiting your arrival!
Safe journey.
👍

Almost a N00B !
It is 5.30 am on Friday 17 September 2021.

In the Brown household light sleeper Sian has been awake half an hour as she stands on Jim’s side of the bed and raises one of the largest cast iron frying pans into the air, before crashing it down hard on Jim’s head.

The ringing in Jim’s ears mean he cannot hear what Sian is saying, but he can see at least three of her mouthing something until a few seconds later his vision returns to normal and he realises there is only one of her.

“Come any time you said” says Sian. She goes on “5 O bloody clock the first one arrived while you were snoring away, what possessed you, you have seen them queuing to get into the Warner’s shows at 8a.m. but no, that’s not good enough for you” as she begins raising the frying pan again.

“Anytime!, any time you said”.

Later that day the ENT specialist gave Jim the good news, his hearing would return to normal in a few days.
So has Jim avoided the frying pan treatment :D

Not cooked in the good tents, but not only was it good to get a Sunday breakfast again, the Lincolnshire Sausage instead of bacon were delicious from the local butcher, topped off by delicious fresh egg. Thank you Sian and Jim and Linda.

Thanks for a fantastic first Motorhome rally for Mrs CTJ and I…we really enjoyed ourselves.

Thanks to those who helped us with our fridge on day one and our awning winder pole this morning…you are stars ⭐️

A special mention to Jim and Sian for their hospitality…we especially loved the sausage & egg rolls on Sunday morning 👍🏻

Saturday night was great fun with Simon & Graham entertaining us all as more than a glass or two of wine flowed🍷 I wonder what the CMC guys next door thought of that???

The Sunday night quiz was the perfect antidote to what was a rather damp evening so thanks to all concerned with that😃

We are rally converts now and plan to book on more when we can. We are looking forward already to the next one👍🏻

Well that was an experience :)

Thanks to Jim and Sian for all the hosting efforts, to the "noisy" musicians, our quizmaster, and everyone else for their company and raising a tidy sum for charity.

Very enjoyable, relaxing few days thanks to Jim & Sian for all their efforts and the usual suspects for your company, nice to meet some new Funsters even if you did make so much noise one person on the C&MC next door complained:eek: miserable bar steward(y)

Brill weekend Jim, Sian and Katie. Thanks for hosting we had a great laugh. Met a few newbies to us. Apologies to the C&MC wallers, but most of us were there to raise money for the MyAware charity, and more importantly celebrate a remarkable transformation to a young ladys life.
PS There will be no anatomy questions at Lincoln. 😷

Big thank you to Jim and Sian for being great hosts and what a bonus to see Katie helping out, onwards and upwards.

Ken, can I just say thank God you are not a surgeon. :giggle::giggle:
Good to see some newbies, just hope they are not scarred for life and give some more meets a go.
No apologies to the CMC wallers, miserable buggers.

Dave & Sandra.

So happy that so much money was raised for the MyAware charity by the Jim's auction . Katie you are a star to see you shining so brightly made our stay even more memorable . Upwards and onward Katie all the best love from us three ,it was so good to see you and Amanda chatting away like old times 💕💕💕

Thankyou Simon ,Graham & Lynn oh and Ken on the drum for our entertainment on Saturday night ,it was so much like old times especially when most of us jumped up dancing to the song ride around Sally it brought back such lovely memories of us in the funster marquee's of times gone by . It felt so good having a little bit of normality back into our lives .

Lovely to meet old & new funsters ❤️
Thanks Ken for the quiz on Sunday night a good few hours spent laughing and enjoying our last evening using the marquee.
