It is possible to have residency in an EU country without having a passport or citizenship for that country.you will need a visa or member state passport
It makes as much sense as this whole Brexit mess. Nobody knows, if we crash out then no, 90 days would be the limit. If we get a deal then it depends on what that is.Sorry your reply doesn’t make sense
You are probably right.I don't think that anyone will have the inclination or the ability to enforce it.

Residency means you are treated as a 'National' of that country for taxation purposes, not a path to follow just for an extended holiday.

I think, in our case it is the vehicles that will give us away.Where are all these people at calais coming from then?
90 total in 180 days, rolling total. Is that 90 days in just one of the EU countries, or can you do 90 in France then 90 in Spain?

Last winter tour we got a speeding fine in France, when re-entered France again in July there was a delay at the customs while they checked the fine had been paid, which it had. Had that speeding fine been from Spain would it still have been picked up in France, who knows, but they do have the technology in place to make those checks.
If there was no enforcement, why the passport checks? What's the tens of miles of fences and hundreds of police? Why do the camps exist?Where are all these people at calais coming from then?
That's a different story, but then again that's the same now.If you are in a country without a valid visa, will you be insured?
How many traffic/vehicle related cameras have you seen?We have been in France 30 days now, seen about 10 police in passing, once you are there who is going to know how long you have been there especially if you do a week or two in Spain or somewhere.
Can't really see them looking for two folks in a campervan, why would it come up?How many traffic/vehicle related cameras have you seen?
Thats what is keeping tabs, or at least probably could easily
In France you must be registered for tax and have an address and have healthcare in place either have a french Carte Vitale or private insurance minimum to get a Titre de SejourIt i
