7m motorhome parking - West Bay, Dorset

Thinking of calling into west bay on our way home today. Can anyone advise where they allow daytime motorhome parking?

They have a large car park by the toilets which you can see as you are driving into West Bay. Also if you use the ,railway' carpark it only costs £2 a day. They have a railway carriage that is used as a restaurant. Have a great day They also have a campsite. Don't know the cost or when it's open sorry

We went to West Bay, it’s the Marmite place of Dorset. I love Marmite but West Bay? It’s a no from us.

If you go to Charmouth instead there’s a large car park right at the beach. I don’t recall the price, but it’s fine for a MH.

BTW, it sounds as if you need to change your profile if your van has been delivered?!

I parked there overnight in Sep '18. It's next door to the West Bay pub (excellent seafood menu).

It's a bit bleak and no sea view as it's behind a shingle bank.

As said above the old railway station carpark is good for your needs. Not sure of the cost now but it could be as much as £8 per day because the new unitary authority had levelled the prices across Dorset - at, of course, the highest.

I'd add that the West Bay Station m/h park is only about 150 yards walk to the harbour.

It seems that the old railway station car park in West Bay is now £8.00 per day 8am - 10pm with no overnight parking allowed at all now. (due to abuse of use when it was allowed for motorhomes to stay overnight ). Still worth a visit though.
