712 miles in one year ?

To date a lot more as we did go to Spain and Portugal on the 12 January 2020.
Back on the 18 March.
No miles since then, also it’s now not taxed, mot or insured.
Maybe in April, but not holding my breath.

2020
Drove back from Mallorca before lockdown (just)
Santander to Dieppe
Newhaven to Mallorca and back
Harwich to Poland and back just before lockdown 2..................... nowhere since:crying:

Not taking mine for MOT due in March. I will leave it until we can drive it for pleasure. Then take it off SORN. As the dealer is 55 miles away would mr Plod say it was too far?

One year since last service and just 712 miles more on the clock in our wanna get off the drive Motorhome, aaaaarrrrrgggghhhh .

I bet someone has done less :cooler:

One solitary, single mile last year, half a mile to the M.O.T. station & half a mile back. :(

Did 400 miles just after the new year........Lincolnshire and back to Somerset to collect Grandchildren......Child Care bubble. Took the van so we didn’t need to stop at any services. (y)

Probably use it to take them back again at February half term.

Car hasn’t moved out of the garage for months. I’ve used more electricity to charge the battery than diesel to run the engine. 🤷‍♂️
I've not used my m/bikes since November - wet, cold, salted roads, nowhere to go. It's odd that according to a scientific report that I heard on the radio the other day that in spite of the global lockdowns carbon dioxide levels from vehicles are unchanged.

No idea how many miles I did last year. But for the 1st time ever I saw my odometer hit a significant number as I pulled back onto the drive.

According to MOT I have done 2,594 miles since June 2019.

in 18 months between MOTs , my van did about 10 miles. Took it for an MOT in December and it failed due to rusty brakes. A good clean up, a drive down the road with foot on the brake pedal and adjust the hand brake cable and it passed without issue.

I pride myself on keeping up with maintenance on my vehicles, so the fail was rather embarrassing. My mechanic told me not to beat myself up over it, as he is seeing a lot worse come in or MOTs. The garage is booked out with repairs and getting an MOT slot not that easy, so they are not failing stuff just for the work, they don't need to. It's the same all round the area

You are such a stop at ome

Goodness you must be taking root

Strewth
Enforced stop-at-ome, not by choice, beleieve me.
Just 1 night away, and that was because i was lucky enough to get an invite to VJ day 75th exhibition at the National Memorial Arboretum, as a member, and my Father was a survivor of the "Death Railway"
Missing that was not an option!!
Normally about 50 nights a year when i was working, now could be a lot more, just got to take things at a slower pace, post Covid.
Stay safe out there, and let's hope we can meet up somewhere, soon
Joe. & Sue
