Hello!!

Even after 7 months of MH ownership I still finding myself having to rely on my fellow funsters for advice. Having previously been a caravaner I was wondering why there is no where to put the pink perfume smelling liquid in the toilet flush systems, or am I missing something. We've purchased and are using a spray bottle of pink bowl cleaner. just wondered why there is an holding tank like the caravan.

We have a separate flush tank so any fluid goes in there.

Not all have flush tanks and use water from the main tank, so are unable to use a flushing agent

That's one thing I miss from our caravan, the flush tank, not many MH's have them, I think its only a couple of UK built ones that do as they also make caravans. Someone on here will know the definitive answer to that.
Yes, so its a trigger bottle with diluted pink stuff for us, as it keeps the bowl clean and fresh.

Your loo will be fed from the fresh water tank.
I don't think you'd want to put pink stuff in there.

A spray bottle of diluted Zoflora does the job much cheaper than the pink stuff! I actually prefer the smell too.

Don't really want to be carrying extra weight so buy the pink concentrate and use an empty spray bottle, much cheaper this way as you only need a few mil when diluting. The Thetford pink also maintains your rubber seals.

Our Auto-Sleepers Broadway FB has a separate flushing tank, which I prefer as we can use the flushing liquid.

Why do you think you need the pink stuff. Just another way of marketing men trying to prise money out of you. Bet you only flush the loo at home with water.:)
How very dare you, we use some stuff in our cistern that cleans and smells nice.
