Hi all i am looking to convert a 7.5t to motorhome with garage for motorbike, looking at a 24foot box. Has anyone got info on this conversion or links. Cheers Iain

Hi Iain, and welcome, I know @Gromett has quite a few resources regarding converting a 7.5 tonner. He will see this and respond I’m sure (y)

Hi there, I am aiming to do one next year. This will replace the 3.5T self convert I am currently living in.
Ready for a bit more space.

Might be an idea to create thread on the self build section of the forum because lots of conversion stuff is the same irrespective of the vehicle.
I will follow the thread and chime in with any info I have picked up :)

PS: Welcome to Fun.

Thanks all i will start a thread in the self build section

Try force vans. They have stuff that’s ex police etc. Have seen ex mobile office lorry’s with inverters and diesel heaters etc already on them.

Thanks Ivory. but want to do it from scratch as i need a bike garage at rear under main bed. The bed will raise and lower so that once the bikes are in it will be at its lowest giving decent head space. Plus i love challenges and problem solving.

If you know anybody doing a conversation and looking for a mattress I have a 18 month old one going free, must be collected Didcot area. It’s for a french bed

I was in Folkestone a couple of weeks ago, on a site for three days,, parked near a mobile library van conversion,, looked really good!

Bloke said the van cost him very little!

Good size though!
