5G So fast I don’t know what to do with it

After years of living in remote locations or places with poor internet 5G has come to a mast near us.

Still keep checking as can’t believe the speed can be correct.
4G check around 10mbps
5G check around 300mbps

Can’t be true can it?

Apparently so, we don’t get it but my parents do and it’s always a shock!

You are lucky! We barely get 4G - sometimes can't even make a phonecall indoors.

Yes but the operators need twice the transmitters to cover the same area as 4g as it’s a much higher frequency

I got 620 MBPS the other week.

It used a gig of data for the test.

I would rather they got proper 4G coverage across the whole country first. No coverage at all at home and where I am currently set up there is occasionally one blob of 4G otherwise two blobs of 3G. Neither are giving more than 1Mbps, usually half this.
