It's amazing we went to Turkey 6 Years ago sailing and had a phone signal and 3G everywhere even out at sea. We are now on top of a hill near Branscombe in Devon and we have the MiFi unit on the roof and only one bar. Most of the time my phone is showing No Service so how are they going to implement 5G. Destict lack of investment in this area that is for sure. So all these fabulous Apps that rely on an internet connection are a bit useless in this neck of the woods.

We had a similar thing in Wales, Once it was on the news that singer "Will I Am" was being broadcast in Space. Yet there we were sat in Wales with less than ½ a meg of broadband and no DAB radio '\

No signal at all in our house, across the road on the pavement 3to4 bar's & 4G

I worked in the Irish republic quite a lot and rule there is if you put up a mast everyone can use it, normally at no extra charge. We can't do it here because it is too "difficult" according to the phone companies. BT should be publicly owned and charge half the exorbitant rates charged by the mainly foreign phone companies. Maybe then we will catch up.

It surprised us in Spain. We had 4G in the middle of nowhere time after time. We should hang our heads in shame here.

That’s why Devon was voted the happiest place live in. No horrible phones going off particularly on the head land near Branscombe.

Q4 if you want a nice day out tomorrow Monday, it’s bluebell day at Colyford. Buses from Colyford village hall and lovely cream teas. Pm me if you want more details. My home village of Colyford you can all the signals you want!
