It crossed my mind as to how many broken ankles, legs etc occurred when they were all descending in the dark. Impressive nonetheless.

Ever since lighting was by Calor gas.
Well, I loved it. All those people (thousands?) out enjoying the night air. I couldn't take my eyes off it and even let my tea go cold.
It was one of the most wonderful displays of teamwork, lighting and impressionist art that I've seen. Absolutely beautiful.
