Hello All,
Currently enjoying my new Motorhome WiFi installation. One thing I have found is that a 4g signal is not always better than a 3g. Theoretically 4g can be 5 times better than 3g. Reality can be different. If you are in an area where 4g is weak or overloaded with users, then give 3g a go. Left to its own devices your router will go for 4g if it can find one. You need to tell it to only use a 3g signal. I have attached a screen shot of where the setting is on a Huawei MiFi. The 'Network Preferred Mode' is what you are looking for. Try a speed test after changing to '3g only'. Simple to change it back if required. Obviously results will vary based upon your location.
Good luck
Stephen
