Looking around for something to print and thought of a Mitre clamp, I don't have one and how I have managed for 70 years without one I don't know, so time to rectify that. ::bigsmile:
I did the first one with 8mmx1.5 printed screws but they just broke so I remade in 12mmx1.75 but they weren't much better for a heavy handed bloke like me, so I used steel bolts in the end with a printed knob on the end. I machined a recess 8mm from the end of the bolt so a modified paper clip goes through the clamp plate and stops it falling of the end of the bolt. Made two in the end.

Almost as cheap as an ordinary printer nowadays, in fact the Laser printer was dearer.

Nice one 👍

Have you uploaded your design anywhere?

I remixed a holder for a 6mm 5 way wago connector from a 4mm one last night, wanted to use one as a neutral busbar in the van

And I'm just designing a terminal cover for my victron battery protect as we speak

Can you use a 3D printer without the ability to operate CAD?
Totally, have a look at thingiverse.com and see what other user's have designed, they are free to use.

But, I enjoy the design part of it as much as the final product

That great site. I would love one of those rulers with all the holes in for marking wood.

Yes what an interesting site. Not sure that I would get value for money by the time that I purchased the printer materials. Then I am not sure that I have the skills to complete the job☹️☹️☹️ Better if I pay someone to do it for me. I could soon have a list 😀😀

Is that a hint? ::bigsmile:
Just printing the smaller ones, the full size are too big for my little ender, but I have been able to slice the end of each one in meshmixer so I will try to print them as well.
