Our view from MH this lunchtime, Sat 23rd April parked up at the 3 Merry Lads pub nor Sheffield.
Great little pub, good beer and food.
Free if you eat, or just £4 if not.
Play area for the kids if required.
Only decided late PM Friday to stop but made welcome, so we are stopping tonight too!

Fantastic area. We used to live the other side of the Rivelin Valley and would run to the Three Merry Lads frequently.

The moors around there are great for walking.

May use this when visiting our friends.

Looks really good and the menu is very reasonably priced I often look at ones that offer free parking and find its a bit expensive. What I also like is it doesn't need a subscription to britstops I think there is a danger the free pubstops are being swallowed up!!

It's actually just branded as a MCC CL rather than being designated as a Nightstop (though, of course, there is no practical difference in that all Nightstops are properly certificated MCC CLs). The MCC (unlike the CC and C&CC) is happy for anyone to use its CLs, not just members.

I can say I am really glad I have found it, an hour away from home,
just great for a Fri,Sat night away when pressed at work for time.
Another pub just a couple o hundred yards away also.
