This has been the home of our friend in Cyprus for the last 12 years. She has now decided to move back to the UK, to be closer to family. There are a lot of British ex-pats in the village and the local people are very friendly. We have spent many holidays here over the last 8 years. The asking price is €199,500 (Euros). The link above is to the Estate Agent website, but if you are interested you can contact my friend directly. If you want to do this PM me for direct contact information.

Xylofagou

Xylofagou village is in an excellent location halfway between Larnaca International Airport and the beach resort of Ayia Napa, approx 20 minute drive from each. With all the usual amenities including schools, banks, shops and tavernas the village is excellent for both residential or holiday use for families and couples alike.

It is a lovely place, @Ambilkate . I’m just about to jump back into the pool. The air temperature is 39deg with a lovely gentle breeze! It is also the top thing on our list for what to buy when we win the Premium Bonds!

Is that Greek Cyprus or Turkish Cyprus?

Are they still being horrid to each other?

JJ
It’s near Larnaca, about 30 minutes from the airport, so GreekCyprus, if I had to choose from your choices. All the Greek and Turkish people we have met have been absolutely delightful to us and to each other, and consider themselves Cypriot.
