Does anyone know if you can squeeze a secound battery under the passenger seat of a 2015 Tranny (mk8?) passenger seat.?

Really asking if anybody has done it, and which batteries used.
Currently have a 110amph , low profile, under passenger seat and a space looks very tight for a second one.

It is possible to fit two batteries..
Size can' be bigger than.. 350mm x180mm x190mm high
But measure up and check your seat plinth size just to be sure..

Cheers Andy, they are 90 degrees to how my current one is fitted.
Good to know it’s doable.

I think mine was the same running fore and aft with just a single battery... the battery securing plate had to be cut/modified to allow the batteries to be mounted as in photo...

We have a 2010 Mk7 and I managed to squeeze another battery in, sorry don’t have a photo but it’s very similar to @andy63 set up.
The batteries I used were two Exide G80 Gels which were the same as the one I replaced.

laying a rubber mat over the top for isolating the terminals from the seat turntable is a good idea

My Transit working van has two batteries as well. 75A's if I remember correctly. The terminals are protected by a sliding plastic lid. Push the seat back, pull the lid forward and off, then pull the seat forward to remove/replace batteries. For those that arent aware, jump leads when needed are connected at terminals under the bonnet.
