I have no idea, DBK. I may take it to my repair guy and get it checked out, another cockup by Mr X...Do you get any readings at night and/or does the reading fluctuate if the sun goes behind a cloud? The reason for asking is to check the meter is wired correctly. It might be the readings are showing current coming from the battery not what the sun is putting in to it. A near 18A charging current could also be frying the batteries. Also, what is switched on in the MH to be drawing this current?
