I've also been editing the latest James Bond movie - 'The Man with the Golden Motorhome' - out later this year, or early next year or sometime later .........

@KeithChesterfield - I'm guessing you arrived at Les Eyzies on Monday morning? :) That aire is one of our absolute favourites, and you bagged our favourite spot. Compulsory right turn out of the aire on Monday, due to (guess what?) the market. Just before the right turn you made into the market area is the Palaois workshop, where you can watch Bernard making replica stone age flint tools using the old techniques. The man's a wizard at his craft.

Le Bugue is unusual in that it's in a public park and you can opt for a shady pitch among the trees.

Just looked at the date on your Roque Gageac video - we were just the other side of the limestone cliff parked in the paddock of a local guy whom we know. We headed up to Ile de Re that morning. We'd vacated your pitch the day before. Small world eh?

I'm thinking of updating the format of my airetoday website to one that points people at more 'live' information than I can provide, like CCI, MHF and so on - when I get round to it could I link straight to your YouTube channel?

Yes, it was a Monday and the place was throbbing with people.

When the market closed it calmed down and we had a walk to the Museum and the Pole International Prehistoire building - very interesting.
