2021 Autotrail PVC - smart alternator?

From comments on here I had presumed that our 2021 Ducato based PVC (2.3L 140hp, Euro 6d, but not stop-start), would have a smart alternator.

I also read that one of the ways to determine if a smart alternator is fitted is to check if a shunt is fitted across the negative battery terminal.

I've attached photos of the negative (and positive terminals) and can't see a shunt.

Any ideas?

Most likely your local dealer will be able to help you with a VIN number. Even I may be able to do that, I have access to some Fiat systems.

Doesn't look like it has a smart alternator to me.nothing on the negative terminal at all except the connection point.

PDrill - Thanks for the data sheets you've sent me by PM - really interesting, although as you say there are a few obvious anomalies.

Looks like it is a standard alternator then.
